a survivor of the 2005 event, Giovanni had taken to research the monsters known as Kaiju. this lead to him signing up for the EDF and being placed in battalion 117 and graduating at the top of his class, this lead to him facing off with a new Godzilla and meeting with Duna. he had continued his research while dealing with more kaiju attacking, this lead to him finding out about Duna's true identity. in the after math of the kaiju war he found out about her friends and later on faced off with the Xilians and what kaiju they could bring using the help of kiryu and Ultraman Gadian ending the war, he was later made grand admiral of the fleet of ascended guardians.
